Quarto, 472pp. Bound in full brown calf with gilt trim and red title piece. Frontispiece and twenty plates, all present. There is moderate wear to the boards, notably loss of leather to bottom right corner and small patch to bottom rear cover. Darkening of leather on left lower front cover.  Bumping and rubbing to extremities, with top right corner somewhat bent. Blank prelims and title have single vertical crease. First blank prelim partially torn at spine. Private bookplate on inside cover with pencil annotation below. Slight spotting on prelims and endpapers, occasional unremarkable spotting to pages otherwise very nice, sound copy with tight binding and images clean and clear.
