Julian Hartnoll (and Eyre)
Julian Hartnoll has been a well-known figure in the art world since the 1960s when he opened his first gallery on Duke Street with Giles Eyre. Specialising in the work of the Pre-Raphaelites, his catalogues are now sought-after collectors items. The Hartnoll & Eyre catalogues and later the Hartnoll Gallery catalogues were known for their quality as well as the unerring eye that meant that they contained the outstanding work of the artists or movement. We stock the early Hartnoll & Eyre catalogues and the later Hartnoll Gallery catalogues for John Bratby, Herbert Draper, Eugene Jannsson, Francis Newton Souza, Sandra Blow and Joe Tilson, Ludwig von Hofmann and others. We are the sole stockists of the limited edition book 'The Reproductive Engravings after Sir Edward Burne-Jones'.
